Why I quit in the first place is a whole other topic. However, quitting may not be the right way of putting it. Regrouping is probably a better way of stating it. It isn’t a job where you are required to show up.
In any case, here is the list:
10. The Network Marketing Model Has Proven Successful.
I have always thought it was a good idea. Taking advantage of leverage like the geniuses of the business world, Kroc, Walton, etc., have done just makes sense. Essentially you do the work once and then just keep it going based on those efforts.
9. The People Are A Great Influence.
The friends and alliances that have come from the associations in the business are always uplifting and encouraging. They have also been very open and gracious. They are some of the best friends that I have made.
8. It Is A Great Leadership Training Environment.
The techniques and principles that are taught can be leveraged into every area of your life. They are not limited to the business you are in. Challenges and obstacles surface everywhere and what you learn can be used universally.
7. ‘Mastermind Alliances’ Can Be Formed
This is a bit of a takeoff from the previous reason, but it is separate. Not all of the relationships are qualified to form this mastermind group. When you come up with some ideas, you can bounce them off the others for input and come up with an even better one sometimes. The collaboration is very meaningful.
6. Unique Products And Services
Without a doubt, network marketing companies provide things you just cant get anywhere else. Some ok and some great.
5. Money
This had to make the list, right? The financial compensation is why we looked in the first place.
4. Recognition
As you become more and more successful, people notice. It inflates the ego a little bit and you can be proud of yourself. It doesn’t happen in too many other industries. Sure you get promotions on jobs, but they don’t celebrate your success like they do in network marketing companies. It really is a celebration too. Feel free to comment on this one. I throw out the challenge to let me know where other industries do this.
3. Lifestyle
It is not just the money. A great deal of money can be made in lots of professions. Not too many give you the time freedom though. Of course there are some, but like I said, not too many. Once things are going, you can take off for extended periods of time and not miss a bit. It is nice.
2. Mastering Skills
Individuals need to work to feel good about themselves. We want to master skills and get better at things. Sports, medicine, machining or whatever, it doesn’t matter. I know I like to really get good at things and I wanted to get really good at this.
1. I Wanted To Finally Beat It – I Wanted To Win!
This thing had beaten me up for years. Years. I decided this time I was going to WIN, no matter what! I heard a saying “you’re going to find me at the top or dead along the side.”
So many times the ‘fear of whatever’ took control. It just wasn’t going to happen any more. Once I decided this time, I was going to do whatever it took. It just was not going to get the better of me, I was going to make The Best out of It!
