Three things that will make sponsoring new distributors into your network marketing business easy are Exposure, Exposure, and Exposure.
It goes back to marketing. How many Subway commercials are there on TV in a day? How about before a new series for a show starts? Remember the Oscar Meyer Bologna commercial? O S C A R has a way with B O L O G N A
How many times did I hear that growing up? Marketing does not rely on a single showing.
Now, I am not saying to bug the crap out of people. Not in the least. What I am saying is the more you are “out there”, the more people will become familiar with you. The more they will have the chance to like you, given you are likeable.
What is “out there”? It is on the social media sites, article sites and your blog.
Social media sites, like YouTube are a given. It gets so much traffic it is staggering. Getting noticed is a whole other ball game. Having some good looks and charisma are going to carry some weight when someone watches your video. Let’s face it, appearance is a factor. We are kidding ourselves to say that it isn’t. However, you don’t have to put your face on the screen do deliver videos. Screen capture programs will allow you to create videos with your computer.
Article sites get quite a bit of respect when it comes to the search engines. EzineArticles.com, ArticleBase.com and GoArticles.com are a couple examples.
A personal blog is where you get to show who you are. In this forum, you obviously have total control over what is published versus the previously mentioned sites. Here you get to really present yourself and your content in your own style and format.
Now that you have an idea where out there is, WHAT do you put out there? You’ll need a message. It has to be interesting content. If you ask me whether some bimbo talking about getting her hair done while she is primping in front of the camera is content, I would have to say no.
Your message has to be helpful. If it eases some pain for your viewer, that is even better. For example, in the MLM business arena, leads are a pretty big topic. Provide some cool instruction on how to attract leads and you may have found a pretty good niche.
Again, just creating one tidbit will hardly do it. Your marketing efforts are going to need to be consistent to create any real results. It will require some time or money on your part. Time to create the content or cash to have someone else do it on your behalf. Elance.com, guru.com and Craigslist are some places to find creators of content if you want to outsource it.
So, create some useful content for the people you want to attract. Then put it where they can find it when they are looking for it. Ask yourself, what you would look for if you were that person. Then ask yourself where you would find it when you were to actually search for it.
Back to the original topic: Sponsoring. New distributors need to go through a progression in order to make a decision to join you. The more content that you have out there and the more of a presence you have, the better the opportunity people have to judge what you have. Your content does the job of bringing prospects down the decision road. So, when the time comes that you actually have a conversation, the process is all but complete as far as the sponsoring is concerned. Building a business is then the next step.
Then, rinse and repeat. Exposure, exposure and exposure is the name of the game in Marketing, Marketing, Marketing.
